Gestures of Sound and Light #2 is a mysteriously interactive immersive sound and light experience by Jesse Mejía, the artist and educator behind the Portland Community College Creative Coding program, MIDI2DMX hardware, unknown atmospheres at Hopscotch, and music released as Los Datos.

This interactive installation blends analog and digital systems, using an LZX video synth and Processing sketch controlled by mouse input to generate evolving visuals on a CRT monitor. Visitors are invited to explore real-time image manipulation through tactile engagement with retro display technology.
Allen Riley
Allen will be demoing a prototype of a new video synthesis arcade game called Hypnogenesis that I developed in collaboration with Andy Wallace. The game is developed in openFrameworks and incorporates a customized version of Video Waaaves. The installation will be presented on a tabletop with a 13" CRT monitor and a 24" x 6" x 4" arcade joystick console that will be placed on the table in front of the monitor. The monitor will be placed on a riser to elevate it above the arcade console. The audio for the game will be played through headphones. The game is single player. Players will sit in a chair in front of the table while playing.

The original incarnation was 12 channels of video, this is a mini version with seven channels of video. All video was created through audio-reactive modular video synthesis.
